DETAILS
The 10-MILE FAMILY ROUTE is escorted by the Richfield Police Department, with traffic controlled at critical intersections. The escorted ride will leave at 10 a.m. sharp.
The 25- and 50-MILE ROUTES traverse near the rim of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park and meander through parks, valleys, affluent residential areas and farmland. The 50 mile-route has more challenging hills and optional add-ons for the ‘lean and mean’.
A Grilled Chicken/Corn-on-the-Cob lunch will be waiting on your
return (from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.) The picnic will include delicious grilled chicken on a Kaiser roll, corn-on-the-cob, cole slaw, watermelon, bread, chocolate chip cookie and iced tea. Non-riders may purchase the lunch for $11.
OUR CENTURY is the best around with diversity of scenery and terrain (all on-road.) Your packed lunch will be waiting at a stop along the way (from
11 a.m. to 1 p.m.) At the end of your journey, feast on a BUFFET DINNER of corn-on-the-cob, roasted chicken and pasta (from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.) served at the Taverne of Richfield. You earned this mouth-watering, all-you-can-eat buffet! Those who are so fast that they get back before 2:30 may eat the grilled chicken lunch at the ride start.
SAG WAGONS support all routes.
SNACK / WATER STOPS will keep you hydrated: four stops on the 100-mile route, three on the 50, and one on the 25- and 10-mile routes. Yoga instructors will lead the riders in yoga stretch exercises at the water stops.
CATS ON HOLIDAY band will perform from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. so returning riders can sit under the shade trees or tents, eat their lunch and relax for the rest of the day. Non-riders are welcome to attend the concert at no cost.
